We've driven through the mountain passes of Iowa to bring you this episode about Björk's 2nd album Post. We head out to the field of dreams, get expensive tickets to a game, and Aaron has a car dealer say "Please leave me alone." 

 

Then we go over more of our favorite cereals and don't talk about nearly as many mining accidents as we did last week.

FROM ROLLING STONE: Jonathan Richman moved from Boston to New York as a teenager in hopes of sleeping on Lou Reed’s couch. That influence shows on the two-chord anthem “Roadrunner.” Recorded in 1972 but not released until 1976, Lovers turned the tough sounds of the Velvets into an ode to suburban romanticism. “Rock & roll was about stuff that was natural,” Richman said. “I wasn’t about drugs and space.” Songs like “Pablo Picasso,” “Girl Friend,” and “Dignified and Old” touched generations of punk and indie-rock innocents.

In 1994 on this day Biggie married Faith Evans and very little else happened on that date so this is the ep you are getting while we finish up our summers. To be honest, I have no idea if this is any good or not but it is episode 22 which is very funny unless you understand the concept of aging.

Then we get our bong di biddie bing bong on with another Rick Rubin joint (stop selling crypto) and talk about a banger of an album that should be higher on the list.
