The Replacements: Let it Be (1984) with special guest Bryce! (Replacements Guy!)

Folks, today we look at a band that started with a janitor crawling into a basement window, the Minneapolis-based band The Replacements! We become the best Replacements podcast as we talk about the band's rise, their turn from punk, and why they just couldn't let themselves be successful (it's rule 7)
We have on Replacements Guy and he goes full method as he explains how hard it would be for a band to do what they need to do when absolutely hammered.
Rob does a classic airport security bit, Aaron's job is truly a hellscape come to life and Matt's kids are getting their education at the ND school of hard knocks. The voicemail is so wild we don't even know where to start and Russ is a cruiserweight champion of an uncle.
Folks, we still have our gear for sale and feel free to call or text the BECK LINE at 802 277 BECK.
Next up we meet the band who we all were suppose to hate in the late 90's but for the life of me, I can't remember why when we become the best Oasis podcast as we listen to (What's the Story) Morning Glory?

Robbie Robertson passed away this week so we wanted to honor him with a podcast that has a great Austin Powers/ Randy Newman bit and the famous secret date with the hairstylist.
He would have loved it.
This episode was originally released 9/14/21 and you can hear that we were still excited to podcast then.

Welcome to Sunday morning on Beck Did it Better where Kohl's resort is sponsoring us to be the best Aretha Franklin podcast when we talk about her best-selling album ever with "Amazing Grace."
We talk about the heat (unless you live with Russell), one of us is letting feral cats in the house, how we sign emails, and we get bummed out by our achievement days. Russ is truly a great uncle, Brian gets sucked into Aaron's quest to find food at the ballpark and we talk a lot about Brian.
Russ came to see Rob and did something that shook Rob to the core, then we talk about gospel music and Aretha and how much different the movie is than the album.
Call 802 277 Beck to ask Aaron if he still has that foot thing and see our store on TeePublic
Next week we are a podcast about the Black Album by Jay-Z

Hear ye! Hear ye! Gather around to hear the story of the Assembly Man. We get into the album of PJ Harvey and talk about how much we enjoyed the second half.
But first we interact with our very nice and very smart fans with the first every "These Three Dueds" and then we continue the DVD tournament. Matt is furthering his kids' educations in North Dakota and Aaron is having a good day with food and a bad day with something or other.
We have plenty of voicemails but feel free to call 802-277 BECK and be part of the show. Visit our merch store as well.
Next week, the album from the Film "Amazing Grace" by Aretha Franklin.
See, I got this out by 10 am JOE!
