Then we cover stone fruit season, Big George Foreman, and the most attractive anti-vaxxers. We also become the best education podcast of 2023 when we talk private school parents, teacher unions, and smelly backpacks. This part of the podcast is sure to remind you of Brad Pitt's cousin....Stu.

 

Then at (50:00) we jump aboard the Marrakesh Express and discuss the eponymous debut studio from the folk supergroup Crosby, Still & Nash. We talk about the California sound, the worst song ever written, members of the 32 club, and share the first ever Crosby, Stills, Nash & Biggie Smalls mashup!

Pearl Jam: Ten (1991)

(Editor's Note) We didn't quit. I just forgot it was Tuesday and then my dog was so itchy I took him to the vet and then I had to help my kid with her math homework and it was about scale factors so it took a bit. 

This week's episode is as close to religion as we can get because this is the best podcast about Pearl Jam and the 160th greatest album of all time. This podcast also really whips the llama's ass because it is sponsored by Beringer White Zinfandel, Fever-Up, and Ticketmaster.

 

Before we get into the music, we get lost in the sauce in the sauce discussing the best things to do in San Francisco, bar hopping style, and the price of condoms.  Then we chat about solo road trips and the best gas station snacks. We also dink and dunk for a little bit, becoming the best pickleball podcast of 2023.

 

Then at (45:00) our thoughts arrive like butterflies when we cover Pearl Jam's debut album, Ten. We discuss Pearl Jam's formation, how late 70s rock influenced Pearl Jam, and Eddie Vedder's unique voice and solo efforts. We also cover Pearl Jam's best live songs, the best Pearl Jam albums, and the best songs that are not on albums.

But before we get to the album we make some pre-jokes about Robo Cop's pro wrestling debut, baseball field maintenance, and the best ice cream flavors. We also become the best self-care podcast when we discuss manicures and whether it's okay to sleep on the other side of the bed. Warning, These opening licks are sure to leave a couple of wet spots.

 

Then, at (40:00), this podcast bends when other podcasts end and we discuss the Police's most successful studio album, Synchronicity. We cover Sting's contributions to the police, the reggae influence on the Police, and the best songs from Guitar Hero Encore: Rock the 80s. We also discuss the conflicts between the Police band members and how they couldn't stand to record in the same studio together. Sounds a bit familiar, huh?

Erykah Badu: Mama’s Gun (2000)

Today we once again become the best Erykah Badu podcast as we talk about her second studio album, Mama's Gun. However, we must hurry up because Matt is putting the hammer down soon! 

We talk about Russ at a baseball game, presidential stomach problems, and Ring cameras (not creepy.) Russell went on a date that did not go well and Rob asks a question that really makes you think. 

Then we get back into neo-soul and Questlove's ability to drag that snare click. We talk about the best Rythem and Blues songs of the 90s and it's just like giving birth because a baby face keeps popping up!
