101. Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin (1969)

Then at (40:00) the guys walk these hills in a long black veil while talking about The Band's debut studio album, Music From the Big Pink. We discuss The Band's influence on other bands, the Johnny Cash show, and the most stylish musicians. We also cover the best modern songs inspired by Bach.

However, before we share our musical snippets we take a voicemail about our obsession with Beck and get caught in a hot box discussing road trips, driving in Europe, and the best Paul McCartney songs. We also become the best food and drink podcast when we talk about the best kind of whitefish, beer sampling etiquette, and celebrity chefs (including tortilla salesmen at beer gardens)..

 

Then at (49:00), we treat you to a musical logic treatise of sorts when we talk about Taylor Swift's fourth studio album, Red. We discuss Swift's reverse Hootie transition from, country to pop, hidden messages in the album liner notes, and the suitcase theory. Dr. Instrument also goes through a list of the best ukulele songs.

Welcome to our first heart attack grill episode where all of our listeners that weigh over 350 pounds listen for free! We hope you enjoy spending all that extra dough elsewhere bro. And we also hope you enjoy the best podcast about Lucinda Williams and the 98th greatest album of all time, Car Wheels on a Gravel Road.

 

Before we get to the album we drink some hard liquor and come on strong, but we'll need to edit that out.
