Tuesday Mar 30, 2021
Tuesday Mar 30, 2021
We are talking about Beyonce and the ultimate album about infidelity. Jay-Z messed up with Becky with the good hair and we are here as Becky with the good Hars, as in Har di Har har (laughing.)
We debut the new "spanking of the week" segment, we talk about the best way to get student's attention and what places we would get taken to by our special someone. Then we talk about how to give someone the bird, Rob's finger issues, and then Matt takes us to school on the Peabody awards.

31. Miles Davis: Kind of Blue

Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
Hey everyone! Why is a jazz album on this list? We don't know. Are we actually smart guys who know a lot about jazz? YES, we are! Thanks, Ken Burns! We talk about the greatest selling jazz album of all time and Rob teaches you very poorly about Modal music. You might say he is a modal student!
If podcasting is cool, you can call us Miles Davis! Rob starts by immediately calling the album by the wrong name and then talking about his love-hate relationship with Poke bowls. Then Russ tells us about dating when you don't drink coffee, and Matt gives us a shorts update. Then Aaron drops a bomb on us about his radio problems and Matt actually agrees with him. We talk video games and somehow this makes us talk about ROCKY TOP by the Osbourne Brothers.
We are talking about Art Blakey, Tony Danza, Karl Malone, John Coltrane, Dave Brubeck, Cannonball Adderly and we talk about people who started in a group and struck gold as solo artists. (Including Rob in the future hopefully.) Dirty Big Bopper makes a comeback and Russ learns how to almost separate an egg.

Sorry for the blank ep again. Aaron is on such thin ice!
Move over Rover, let Beck Did It Better take over. We are talking about the greatest debut album of all time with Jimi Hendrix: Are you experienced. We talk MItch Mitchell, Noel Redding, The Ventures, and BECK this week.
We look at this fantastic album and discuss guitars, singing and all the stuff that goes into an album. Matt is now into short shorts and Russ introduces Love or Confusion, a new bit that makes us happy we are not online dating.

Tuesday Mar 09, 2021
Tuesday Mar 09, 2021
SORRY FOR THE DELAY AND THE BLANK EPISODE. I put Aaron in charge of this ep and he blew it sorry.
We are talking about John, Ringo, Paul, and George. This is the album that broke them up and that fire is brought to this one as well. We are talking about sledding as adults, Aaron's celebrity spotting and Rob makes a best friend.
We debut Matt's tribute to the listeners and we get into the 1000 songs on this album. We ask the important questions, what song to cheat on your wife? How many honey pie songs do we really need? How many times can you listen to Ob-La-Di?

28. D'Angelo: Voodoo
Tuesday Mar 02, 2021
Tuesday Mar 02, 2021
Today we are talking about one of the sexiest albums of the Rolling Stone Top 500 Albums, D'Angelo's Voodoo. This is his second album after Brown Sugar and D'Angelo and Questlove made sure that this is one of the funkiest, grooving albums that you will ever hear, even if you have no idea what D'Angelo is saying.
We take a call from the Beck line and we hear another weird thing that Aaron does instead of using a modern appliance. Then we talk about the troubles with modern deodorant shopping. and we share our marshmallow style. The one of us who using mini marshmallows will NOT surprise you.
Then we talk about D'Angelo and the rise of neo-soul and how D'Angelo's sexiness almost undid him. As we go through the album we make smart comments about the music that inspired D'Angleo, from Hendrix to Prince and Marvin Gaye. Then Russ gives us a bangerongo of a list and teaches us the four main strokes we need.
