Prince: Purple Rain (... Aaron is living in his garage)
Tuesday Nov 10, 2020
Tuesday Nov 10, 2020
Listen... we talk about a lot of stuff in this episode. It might be our best ever. But none of that matters. Aaron is currently living in his garage and needs to crawl out a window to go to the bathroom. It is all I can think about.
Matt hates Halloween and the BIG BOPPER makes a comeback. But that is all background noise compared to Aaron being locked into his garage at night by his wife.
We talk about how Prince is loved by Minnesotans and how he is the epitome of sex. But what we really want to hear is how Aaron has to sleep on an air mattress at night.
Finally, we debate how many guitar solos is too many, we have a list of the greatest movie songs of all time, but no one cares because we are all visualing Aaron trying to sleep as rats run around the garage.

Tuesday Nov 03, 2020
Tuesday Nov 03, 2020
Welcome to the election day episode of BECK DID IT BETTER. This week we are electing the number 7 album on the list, Rumours by Fleetwood Mac. We talk love triangles and how this sounds like a greatest hits album.
We also talk about the first song to hit a billion downloads on spotify and youtube and then get in an argument about whether "Wonder Wall" is truly a stadium anthem (it is).
Then we get into the double entendre part of the episode and we discuss the complicated relationships in the band Fleetwood Mac and NBA star Wesley Johnson.
Finally, Rob nominates himself to be the old man on the podcast as we talk about the pains of getting older. From not keeping up with music on Tik Tok to being lactose intolerant.
Finally, Russ brings the heat with the greatest presidential campaign songs of all time. Can you name all the songs Bill Clinton had to battle against?
If you are still reading this far down, you might want to think about the choices you are making in your life.

The Beatles: Abbey Road (... with Emmerson, our 5th Beatle!)
Monday Oct 19, 2020
Monday Oct 19, 2020
Hello, people of earth!
This week we are talking about the final album The Beatles ever made. Abbey Road! To help us out we have a special guest and self not proclaimed expert EMMERSON! He helps us break down what makes this album so special and how it can be view through the lens of The Beatles breaking up.
We also explore the ins and outs of the PAUL IS DEAD conspiracy theory and talk the world of live music in 2020. We discuss the dangers of wearing headphones while listening to the podcast and we even break down the best song by everyone's favorite and most thought of instrument. Hey, if it is not Baroque, don't fix it!
Finally, we weigh in on the medley on the second side of the album. Most beautiful thing in the world or a bunch of bits and bobs? And where does Her Majesty belong anyway? And what was Aaron doing when his parents left the house? (The answer probably won't surprise you.)
Mostly this episode is an excuse for everyone to say mean things about Rob. He is a good-natured guy and loves to have some fun now and then, but people shouldn't be so mean to him! Oh well, most of the hosts don't read this anyway.
If you want to hear less about Aaron not owning a microwave or maybe you have something to say about it, call the BECK LINE at 802 277 2325 (BECK) and leave us a message to play on the podcast.
