EMERGENCY EPISODE: Rolling Stone made a new list!
Wednesday Sep 30, 2020
Wednesday Sep 30, 2020
This episode is just us comparing the old 2003 Rolling Stone greatest 500 albums list with the brand new 2020 list! This is by far the most important thing to happen in 2020 and what everyone will remember from this year.
We discuss the winners (D'Angelo) and losers (Beatles, Bob Dylan) from the reordering and how excited we are to talk a little more hip hop and Harry Styles. We look at how the new list is more inclusive of women and artists of color and how many old bands got booted off the list. Russell will then blow your mind with the number one thing he is mad about. Rob talks about why his family is a bunch of sociopaths and Matt talks about how this list made him yell at his mom. Good Times!

Bob Dylan: Blonde on Blonde (... now with more HARMONICA)
Friday Sep 25, 2020
Friday Sep 25, 2020
Hey everybody!
We know Rolling Stone Magazine screwed us by changing up there list but we already had this one recorded! So we are putting it out because of all the TOPICAL HUMOR!!
First thing, we get a voicemail talking about the famous jazz flautist Jim Horn and how he should be the flautist we are talking about instead of Herbie Mann!
Then Matt gives us some Marie Kondo type advice that involves making a hitlist in a spreadsheet for everything in your life that you hate! Like those internet subscriptions and newsletters that you keep forgetting to cancel!
Rosie then takes us on a journey through his year-long attempt to do a one-handed pushup and the rat orgy that has been occuring biweekly in his garage.
Russell asks for advice for when he stops paying attention to what his date is saying but we were distracted and instead we touch on Aaron's new series "GREAT TROMBONE STORIES FROM HIGH SCHOOL!"
We also discuss Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde at some point but it devolves into the story of the many times he chose video games over the nightlife.

The Clash: London Calling (and the Big Bopper is answering!)
Tuesday Sep 22, 2020
Tuesday Sep 22, 2020
In this episode, we talk about the Clash's 1978 album "London Calling." This is the 8th album on the list and we talk about our complete lack of knowledge of punk music.
Before we get into the album, we talk about Rob screwing up his wife's birthday and then Russ reveals his greatest gift-giving error. We also encounter the ghost of the Big Bopper and what he has to say will not shock you at all.
Aaron also takes you to school and teaches you the difference between Reggae and Ska and he lets us know why he loves the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith!
We are looking for what would be on Uncle Russ' big wheel of fun. If you have any idea, please email us at beckdiditbetter@gmail.com or contact us @beckdiditbetter on Twitter and Instagram.
If you have a compliment or a bigger compliment, please share it on the BECK LINE. Call 802-277-2325 (BECK) and leave us a message and we will play it on the show.
