We give some creative criticism of our first apple podcast review/ fan we don't know and then we talk about our favorite holiday family traditions. For Matt, it is filling his yard with two dozen tasteful blow-ups (poop emoji.)

In this episode we talk about the Rolling Stone list of "The Greatest Rock & Roll Christmas Songs, Holiday Songs." That title is not great but this episode sure is!

We are talking about the first true rap album on the top 500. It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back by Public Enemy. We talk about the incredible sound on the album, Chuck D and his awesome presence and what do we make of Flavor Flav any way?
Before we get into the album, we have a couple of special guests to talk about Minnesota United soccer and we once again debate how good is Wonderwall by Oasis as a stadium song.
We talk about WHY Aarons was sleeping in a tent and how to buy albums if you aren't just looking for some Pearl Jam at PearlJam.com. We also talk about the Grammys and how the Weeknd got screwed and we meet Dirty Granny, a new predictable character.
Then we talk about the history of Public Enemy. How did Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Professor Grif, Terminator X and the Bomb Squad all come together to make the rap album that inspired the rest. We talk samples, rapping about not doing drugs and Aaron going to an exotic animal show. Then we talk about one of the greatest samples in R and B history, "Darkest Light" by The Lafayette Afro Rock Band. It has been used by Jay Z, Heavy D and of course, Wreckx-n-Effect.
Then Russ drops a bomb on us and leaves us wanting more and Matt shows off his great Marv Albert impression.
